Today’s workouts

Today I went and worked out again at voices for Independence in Erie PA, and my muscles are sore  from the workout, but I feel great. I feel kind of  rejuvenated anyway.  I feel like this is a prime opportunity turn some of my negative health concerns into a positive and maybe by motivating myself I can motivate others. I really like this working out a couple times a week. Hopefully somebody out there will be inspired to get out there and make some positive changes and their lives. We’ve only got one life, so let’s make it count and get the most out of it.

getting myself healthy

On Tuesday I will be going to our local Center for Independent Living and use their dedicated gym space   and  meet  with a fitness trainer. The place is called voices for Independence, if you live in the Erie PA you should come and check it out.

Dress for Winter

If you have a molded seating system, than you want to add warmth without bulk.  Your best bet is  to invest in some fleece  and thermal shirts .  They even got thermal pants.  You can get a thick long poncho instead of a jacket.  A poncho is easier to put on than a jacket.   You can put leg warmers over your arms for warmth.  Large socks are easier to pull over the hand than gloves or mittens.
