I tried wheelchair yoga for the first time and to be honest I didn’t have high expectations. I never saw myself as the meditation Namaste type, however after a few minutes I got into it. I’m planning to go back and give it a go, but I am still on the fence about this whole thing.
I feel the Bern today, my shoulders are little sore than usual, but I feel great. I’m also looking into getting a Bowflex machine, so I can do some workouts at home. I just got to see if the bench can be taking off so I can pull my wheelchair up to the machine.
On Tuesday I will be going to our local Center for Independent Living and use their dedicated gym space and meet with a fitness trainer. The place is called voices for Independence, if you live in the Erie PA you should come and check it out.
